So, just now, I finished enrolling for next year. Phew. Even now, I'm still not too sure if it's what I want to do. I've got 5 core units that I have to do, and then two electives and a choice in what theory for art I want to do.
For theory, I decided to do a fashion, image and advertising; I would have liked to do something that relates more to pop culture, but I think the units for that are only for 3rd years :/ All the other theory units were alright, but none of them caught my eye.
As for my electives, I chose to do Japanese for both of them. I'm really unsure about this choice though, because from the way I see it, it's sort of a 'waste'. By that I mean not spending my time at uni wisely. I should be studying something that would apply to the field I want to head in right? Sure japanese might come in handy, but it's only basic stuff, so in the long term, it wouldn't be as useful. I really want to do heaps of other units like 3D animation or maybe some more digital imaging units.. or maybe illustration? I could probably take those up in my third year, but that's only two electives! And I'm wondering if I should go for Honours or not...Honestly, it doesn't sound like any fun at all, but it would be good wouldn't it?
