You know, despite my internet being capped and all, today it's running quite fast O.O Not that that's a bad thing, but it's kinda weird. Personally I think I get faster internet than my dad's laptop which is connected directly to the cable.
Anyway..some updates. Hmm.. Well I think I've found a class that I'm not going to like- Typography. -.- It was either that or Photomedia. I would have chosen photomedia except I knew I'd need a good camera (and guess what? all the photomed students need to buy an SLR camera!) so I chose typography. I thought it would have it's uses, which would give me a chance to practice and hone my design skills which need a lot of work.
In total, I have around 8 projects for this class- 4 mini ones and 4 major ones. That really sucks. And also, I don't really have closer friends in the class which is a major bummer. There are people I know, but they don't know each other, so I kinda have to stick with one or the other if you know what I mean. :/
So yesterday I went to see Inception. How awesome is it?? There are only a few things I didn't get, like for one, how did they enter another person's dream? Was it because of that tubey thing that sedated them? And who's dream was who's? I think that confused me the most. And the ending.. what a cliffhanger. Lol everyone in the cinema was like AWWWWWWW.... haha.XD
Oh oh and do people ever laugh when they know something funny is coming up? I always laugh because I know what's going to happen, and then everyone else starts laughing after I've finished... It's like when your watching those sitcoms or something, with that laughing in the bg..

Yesterday I had an awesome class. MMD1302. Basically we get to create a story with the whole works (world, characters, plot etc) so that it could be turned into a game/website/animation or anything. We were told it was going to end up being an animation, except my mind is set on turning it into a game >.< My group came up with a few ideas, but I'm thinking it might be a bit complicated and a bit full on. So, I was wondering if any of you guys had an suggestions?

Another thing- it seems this virus I still have on my computer tried to hack into my facebook account, and my internet is capped (I'm in the ivanhoe library) so I can't really do too much.:/ None of my antivirus programs can detect it, even in safe mode. My laptop is slower than usual, and the only thing I can tell the virus is doing is that it can some how access internet explorer(iexplore.exe) even though I keep ending the process. Janet, any suggestions?

First day back at uni. Annoyed at the fact that I actually had class even though it stated on allocate+ that there were no classes; which ruined my plans. I had a 4hr break, which meant I had no lunch. So I ended up going back to my parent's shop just to eat lunch and then headed back. -.- But another depressing thing is that I don't have other friends to hang out with now because of them being in a different course and all.
One thing I liked about today was that I got to finally use Maya! First time! Gosh it's so confusing, all the different tools etc. and being told not to take notes doesn't help me take in everything. And it's kinda hard to understand the teacher when she doesn't speak english that well, and speaks a mile a minute. But I've always wanted to be able to make 3D stuff, and it's pretty cool what you can do. I made a pencil, although at some point I stuffed up the top of it so it went over the edges- BUT- I thought it was pretty cool that I could do that. Hehehe.>.<
But there is a downfall with this unit- I won't be able to work at home. :/ Supposedly they have a different copy of Maya from the personal version or something, which means, if your caught, you can get fined $100,000 and the teacher goes to jail. Sheesh. I think it's alright if I use it for the exercises, but I don't think I'll risk it for the projects:/

I seriously think I have insomnia. I can't get to sleep properly, I keep waking up during the night; I don't know what's causing it. I'm just lying in bed tossing and turning trying to sleep, but my eyes are wide open just staring into the dark. How long does insomnia last for? Hopefully soon.. I don't think I can think clearly anymore..

You know, I'm kinda excited to be going back to uni soon. I've felt that the first semester didn't count because majority of the units had nothing to do with my course. So it feels like I'm about to officially start uni. I'm just hoping I won't hate it or find it difficult:/
So if anyone wants to know my uni timetable- here it is:
*Tuesday- Lecture 10am (1hr)
- Comp Lab 1pm (3hr)
*Wednesday- Lecture 9am (2hr)
- Studio 2pm (4hr)
*Friday- Comp Lab 10am (2hr)
- Studio 2pm (4hr)
At least I get an extra day free:D But I'm going to be so tired on Wednesdays and Fridays...argh.
