Yesterday I went out with some of my new friends who I actually just recently met (like like week and this wednesday) to participate in a treasure hunt organized by the anime club and malaysian club. Starting around 10:45am, my group started running around frantically with no clue as to where to find the hidden boxes that would lead to our next clue. We then realised that on the paper that they gave us, there were hidden messages with different locations. He had alot of trouble finding one particular box, which was supposedly taken away by some cleaner which left everyone running around like headless chooks.

Next clue lead us to the Melbourne Museum where we had to find different things and take photos of them. I was seriously tired already, as I ran most of the time. When we finally finished, we headed to the next location, which was Flagstaff gardens. I HATE THE NEXT ACTIVITY SO MUCH!! When we arrived, we all had to face back to back, and then had our feet tied together so we had 6 legs ( like a 3 legged race except with 3 legs in front and 6 in the back). The string that they used totally cut into our feet which has resulted in serious bruising. Seriously, I haven't had such big bruises in years! So then there were 3 other minigames which were alright but nothing special.

We then headed to the 2nd last location which was the bridge thing in myers. This required more photo taking and heaps of running. What annoyed me the most was this one part where we had to find 3 eroded white chairs shaped like the no.3. I originally spotted 3 white chairs, but they weren't "eroded" or looked anything like the no.3 so we didn't take it. But apparently that was it!! we spent ages looking for it, running up and down lvl 2 and 3.

When we finished, we headed to the final location which was some place past big w where there is some fake green lawn. We knew we didn't come first out of the 25 teams competing, but we thought we did pretty well. In the end we came 11th and were given some nice tea. Did I mention that the prizes were a ds for every member who came first, a debit card for 2nd place and movie passes for 3rd?
When everyone finished, we headed to the state library lawn to give out the prizes.

Some really geeky looking guys (all westerners, not asian!)came to receive there first place. I didn't mind too much, overall, I had a pretty good time. What sucked was the participation prize, which was one free game at intencity and a coupon buy 2 get 1 free for gloria jeans which can only be used near caulfield. I'm never going to use them, which renders them useless. Does anyone want them? Will add a bonus $10 bonus game pass at intencity!
Overall it was a good day out, except now I'm aching all over and I can't move too much :/

Yesterday I got to play badminton for 2 hours!!:D:D It wasn't as fun as it could have been though, because I mainly played with my youngest sister, who isn't that great at it. My other sister couldn't come along because she's in pain because of shingles, and my dad left halfway through to get some work done. Well not that it matters now anyway. What I really wanted to say is that I was in a car crash yesterday. It was really sudden, totally unexpected. It wasn't that serious or anything, just a big jolt. I kinda lurched forward because of the impact and my heart felt as if it collided into my chest. But good thing is that it wasn't my dad's fault. Supposedly this guy had tried to do a u-turn when your not supposed to, and my dad was in a slip lane (I think that's what you call it?) so it couldn't have been my dad's fault. Really glad though. Honestly don't think my parents need another financial burden because of some idiot's driving.

I've been meaning to post something for a while, but haven't had the time or too tired to. Uni has been getting better, things are getting busier. The only reason why I am posting is because I'm procrastinating- too much homework. I need to write 1000 word comparative essay due in two weeks, a triptych and a mandala due next week, and daily drawing exercises... I've started on all of them except the essay because I fail at writing. I've made quite a few friends, or rather met a lot of people, and I know all they're names :D So far my brain hasn't failed me in memorizing names>.< I wish I kinda knew the people I was with in O-week though because they seemed like a lot of fun, except I was being quite shy and unsociable so I didn't talk as much till the last few days. *face palm* Somehow I ended up making friends with a lot of asians though-.- Not on purpose though. Not that I hate asians or anything. Just that I don't get to mingle much I guess. I my school friends:( I wonder when will I see them next time...

Well time to get back to work.

It's amazing how fast you can lose contact with people...rather I feel as if I'm being avoided... Makes me wonder what is real and what isn't...
